OS X 10.9.2 est disponible en téléchargement, cette fois dans sa version finale [combo - 860 Mo]. Elle contient le correctif pour l'importante faille de sécurité SSL. Des améliorations fonctionnelles sont également proposées dans FaceTime avec l'ajout des appels vocaux, de même que le blocage de contacts dans iMessages (une action synchronisée avec la version iOS du même logiciel - lire aussi La bêta 2 du 10.9.2 améliore FaceTime et corrige Safari).
Les problèmes de Mail devraient être réglés. La compatibilité améliorée avec Gmail n'est pas explicitement citée dans les notes de version mais la messagerie de Google l'est dans les notes étendues (ci-dessous) avec le détail des changements apportés.
